I'm a home-care aide living in Thủ Đức. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $490, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

I hope things turn around soon. Sent it to 12 people at work. Take care.
Hope it all works out, Minh. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My neighbor in Lagos donated after I showed her your page.
Thinking of you and your family, Minh. Shared it with a few friends. After 9 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Thủ Đức.
Hope things get better soon, Minh. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Love from Seoul.
Thinking of you, Minh. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'll check back for the next update.
