Two weekends of roof repair for Lorenzo, a single mother of three in San Nicolás de los Garza
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in San Nicolás de los Garza?

I'm a single mother of three living in San Nicolás de los Garza. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $1,700, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

sending love. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money!
Hope things get better soon. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Duluth
your post was clear and honest. Put this on a community board in Albany this morning. All the best.
Hope things get better soon, Lorenzo. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. After 7 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this, Lorenzo. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Ribeirão Preto.
