Two weekends of roof repair for Kunal, a disabled veteran in Mumbai
The roof at Kunal's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Mumbai. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $410, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Glad we found this place.

Wishing you the best, Kunal. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I hope October is when things finally get easier. God bless.
best of luck. Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Mumbai
Sending love, Kunal. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Blessings
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Chiang Mai so I could bring a meal. Love from Saint Petersburg
