Two weekends of roof repair for Alberto, a night-shift nurse in San Diego
Could you spare a weekend to help repair a leaking roof in San Diego?

I'm a night-shift nurse living in San Diego. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $5,750, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thanks for being kind about this.

wishing you peace. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Laredo but we're thinking of you
