Two weekends of roof repair for Adrian, a retired bus driver in Anaheim
Adrian, a retired bus driver, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Anaheim.

I'm a retired bus driver living in Anaheim. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $2,900, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you so much.

You're not alone, Adrian. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care.
Sending love. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Medellín.
Rooting for you, Adrian. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Buffalo donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
