Tushar lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Mumbai Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100. His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment Tushar could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $100 goes: • Fitting and training sessions: $45 • Delivery and set-up: $20 • First-year servicing plan: $35 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  1. We're at 80% thanks to 4 of you. I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts. More news soon.

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($55 in total) I made the first payment toward fitting and training sessions. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. 45% there. the plan for fitting and training sessions is now scheduled. Thank you. - Ketki
