Werner is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at the Stuttgart Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,600. The registrar has said Werner can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Werner has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Werner would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Werner isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Stuttgart Institute of Technology bursar's office.
