Tuition fund for Wellington: a computer science degree at the Santos Institute of Technology

Wellington is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a computer science degree at the Santos Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,150. The registrar has said Wellington can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Wellington has a 3.6 average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Wellington would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Wellington isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Santos Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,150 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $290 • Final term tuition: $740 • Exam and lab fees: $85 • Textbooks and materials: $35 Thanks for being kind about this.
