Uchenna is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at Abuja State College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $555. The registrar has said Uchenna can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Uchenna has a first-class average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Uchenna would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Uchenna isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Abuja State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $555 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $170 • Final term tuition: $340 • Exam and lab fees: $40 • Textbooks and materials: $5 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
