Tuition fund for Uche: a nursing degree at Kaduna State College

Uche is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at Kaduna State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $900. The registrar has said Uche can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Uche has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Uche would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Uche isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Kaduna State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $900 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $320 • Final term tuition: $500 • Exam and lab fees: $40 • Textbooks and materials: $40 With deep gratitude, Amaka
