Tiffany is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at San Francisco Community College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,450.
The registrar has said Tiffany can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Tiffany has a distinction average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Tiffany would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Tiffany isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the San Francisco Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
