I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at Edinburgh State College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a tutor to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $2,950.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my professor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,150
• Final term tuition: $1,300
• Exam and lab fees: $210
• Textbooks and materials: $290
Glad we found this place.

Wishing you peace, Sharon. I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Bari.
Hang in there. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
Praying for you, Sharon. Gave what I could, wish it was more. All the best
It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Machakos but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Edinburgh

Praying for you, Sharon. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.
