Serkan is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Istanbul University, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,400.
The registrar has said Serkan can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Serkan has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Serkan would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Serkan isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Istanbul University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• Final term tuition: $670
• Outstanding tuition balance: $700
• Exam and lab fees: $30
I hope life is good to you.

reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Aurangabad donated after I showed her your page. Take care
