Samuel is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a master's in public health at Caxias do Sul Community College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,200.
The registrar has said Samuel can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Samuel has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Samuel would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Samuel isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Caxias do Sul Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $300
• Final term tuition: $760
• Exam and lab fees: $90
• Textbooks and materials: $50

Updates from Henrique
Wanted to say thank you properly. 3% funded and the plan for exam and lab fees is now scheduled.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($30 in total) the plan for textbooks and materials is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Thank you all. We're at 1% now ($10). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the university and confirmed the amounts.

Stay strong, Henrique. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from São Paulo.
