Tuition fund for Salim: a pharmacy diploma at Shubra University
A first-generation student, Salim needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a pharmacy diploma.
🇪🇬 Egypt402 views
Salim is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at Shubra University, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $300.
The registrar has said Salim can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Salim has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Salim would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Salim isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Shubra University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $300 goes:
• Textbooks and materials: $45
• Final term tuition: $230
• Exam and lab fees: $25
Every share and every dollar helps.

Looking forward to the next update. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Shubra
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Bhopal

Stay strong, Mohammed. Your post was clear and honest.
Hope things get better soon, Mohammed. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My husband and I read this together. God bless.
Praying for you, Mohammed. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Thinking of you and your family, Mohammed. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Sakai
Sending strength, Mohammed. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Blessings.
Wishing you the best. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Cebu City.
