Sajib is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a law degree at Pune Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800.
The registrar has said Sajib can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Sajib has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Sajib would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Sajib isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $800 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $320
• Final term tuition: $400
• Exam and lab fees: $30
• Textbooks and materials: $50

So sorry you're going through this, Nargis. Good luck with the exams, you've got this.
This could happen to any of us. After 6 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
