A first-generation student, Ronke needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a teaching qualification.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Nigeria1,314 views
Ronke is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at Badagry Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600.
The registrar has said Ronke can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ronke has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ronke would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Ronke isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $600 goes:
• Final term tuition: $420
• Exam and lab fees: $30
• Outstanding tuition balance: $150
Every share and every dollar helps.

Praying for you, Yakubu. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless
Praying for you. Shared this with my family. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Badagry
Hope it all works out, Yakubu. Hope you get there. Greetings from Chattogram.
Rooting for you. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Badagry.
