Tuition fund for Ratul: an electrical engineering diploma at Rajkot Community College
A first-generation student, Ratul needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an electrical engineering diploma.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an electrical engineering diploma at Rajkot Community College, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a barista to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $850.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $850 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $450
• Final term tuition: $340
• Exam and lab fees: $35
• Textbooks and materials: $25
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Updates from Ratul
Quick update: $84 raised so far (10%). we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($419 in total) I made the first payment toward exam and lab fees. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Thank you all. We're at 58% now ($494). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward final term tuition.
