Paola has worked and saved for five years to study an accounting degree; a $4,050 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Paola is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an accounting degree at Brescia Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,050.
The registrar has said Paola can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Paola has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Paola would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Paola isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Brescia Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $4,050 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,350
• Final term tuition: $2,550
• Textbooks and materials: $150

Take care. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. God bless
Sending strength. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Yekaterinburg donated after I showed her your page
I hope things turn around soon. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Brescia.
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Brescia
