Óscar is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at Coatzacoalcos State College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,000.
The registrar has said Óscar can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Óscar has a distinction average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Óscar would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Óscar isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Final term tuition: $380
• Exam and lab fees: $95
• Textbooks and materials: $45
