Tuition fund for Marisol: a nursing degree at Coatzacoalcos Community College

Marisol is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Coatzacoalcos Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500. The registrar has said Marisol can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Marisol has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Marisol would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Marisol isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $500 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $30 • Outstanding tuition balance: $440 • Textbooks and materials: $30 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
