Tuition fund for Marisol: a degree in civil engineering at San Nicolás de los Garza State College
A first-generation student, Marisol needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a degree in civil engineering.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a degree in civil engineering at San Nicolás de los Garza State College, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a tutor to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,500.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a top-ten-percent average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $450
• Final term tuition: $970
• Textbooks and materials: $80
Thanks for reading all this.

Thank you. If you're in San Nicolás de los Garza I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Let me know if you want more detail.
Hope things get better soon, Marisol. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
so sorry you're going through this. Study hard! This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
