Tuition fund for Mai: a teaching qualification at the Raleigh Institute of Technology
Mai has worked and saved for four years to study a teaching qualification; a $5,200 gap now stands between her and graduation.

Mai is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at the Raleigh Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,200.
The registrar has said Mai can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Mai has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Mai would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Mai isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $5,200 goes:
• Final term tuition: $3,050
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,000
• Exam and lab fees: $150
Every share and every dollar helps.

Updates from Nam
Good news. Because of your gifts ($1,862 in total) I made the first payment toward final term tuition. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

So sorry you're going through this, Nam. Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Stay strong, Nam. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Hubballi this morning. Love from Hubballi.
