Tuition fund for Macharia: a computer science degree at Dar es Salaam University
A first-generation student, Macharia needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a computer science degree.

Macharia is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a computer science degree at Dar es Salaam University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650.
The registrar has said Macharia can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Macharia has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Macharia would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Macharia isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Dar es Salaam University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
