Tuition fund for Lefteris: a nursing degree at the Athens Institute of Technology

Lefteris is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at the Athens Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,350. The registrar has said Lefteris can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Lefteris has a first-class average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Lefteris would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Lefteris isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Athens Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,350 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $440 • Final term tuition: $630 • Exam and lab fees: $155 • Textbooks and materials: $125 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Fotini
