Tuition fund for Léa: a computer science degree at Edmonton State College

Léan is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a computer science degree at Edmonton State College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,350. The registrar has said Léa can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Léa has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Léa would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Léan isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
