Tuition fund for Kai: a pharmacy diploma at Los Angeles University
A first-generation student, Kai needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a pharmacy diploma.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a pharmacy diploma at Los Angeles University, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a library assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $6,400.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.8 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Los Angeles University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $6,400 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,450
• Final term tuition: $3,550
• Exam and lab fees: $270
• Textbooks and materials: $130
