Joyce is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at London State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,600.
The registrar has said Joyce can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Joyce has a first-class average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Joyce would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Joyce isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the London State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
