Tuition fund for Josefa: a master's in public health at Envigado Polytechnic
Josefa has worked and saved for five years to study a master's in public health; a $1,500 gap now stands between her and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a master's in public health at Envigado Polytechnic, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a delivery rider to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,500.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Envigado Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $600
• Final term tuition: $760
• Exam and lab fees: $75
• Textbooks and materials: $65
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thanks for sharing this. Shared it with a few friends. Wish I lived closer to Peoria so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Envigado
How is Josefa doing now?
thinking of you, Josefa. Looking forward to the next update. I hope September is when things finally get easier. Take care.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless
Study hard! I'll check back for the next update.
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Josefa.
Sure. The biggest one is outstanding tuition balance, $600. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. It helps to be asked.
A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Antioquia. I'll ask around and let you know
You're not alone. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Envigado

Rooting for you. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best.
Take care. I hope things turn around soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care
