Nuremberg
Johanna is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at Nuremberg University, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,300. The registrar has said Johanna can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Johanna has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Johanna would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Johanna isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $5,300 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $2,100 • Final term tuition: $3,000 • Exam and lab fees: $115 • Textbooks and materials: $85 Thank you so much.

  1. Wanted to say thank you properly. 36% funded and the plan for outstanding tuition balance is now scheduled.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 23% now ($1,232). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the university and confirmed the amounts. - Thomas
