Ji-hye is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a computer science degree at Mapo Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,100. The registrar has said Ji-hye can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Ji-hye has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Ji-hye would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Ji-hye isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Mapo Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
