Tuition fund for Jéssica: an electrical engineering diploma at Juiz de Fora University

Jéssica is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Juiz de Fora University, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,150. The registrar has said Jéssica can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Jéssica has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Jéssica would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Jéssica isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $1,150 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $310 • Final term tuition: $630 • Exam and lab fees: $115 • Textbooks and materials: $95 Thanks for reading all this.
