Alcalá de Henares

Isabel is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a law degree at the Alcalá de Henares Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,700. The registrar has said Isabel can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Isabel has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Isabel would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Isabel isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Alcalá de Henares Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,700 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $1,450 • Exam and lab fees: $60 • Textbooks and materials: $190 Thanks for reading all this.

so sorry you're going through this, Joaquín. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Alcalá de Henares

so sorry you're going through this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Take care.
