Tuition fund for Festus: a teaching qualification at the Nnewi Institute of Technology

Festus has worked and saved for five years to study a teaching qualification; a $250 gap now stands between him and graduation.

Nnewi
Festus is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at the Nnewi Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $250. The registrar has said Festus can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Festus has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Festus would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Festus isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Nnewi Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $250 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $20 • Exam and lab fees: $15 • Outstanding tuition balance: $215 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
