Favour is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Lagos State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $250.
The registrar has said Favour can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Favour has a top-ten-percent average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Favour would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Favour isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Lagos State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $250 goes:

• Textbooks and materials: $45
• Exam and lab fees: $35
