She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Durga can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Durga has a first-class average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Durga would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
