Tuition fund for Duangjai: an electrical engineering diploma at the Bangkok Institute of Technology

Duangjai is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at the Bangkok Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600. The registrar has said Duangjai can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Duangjai has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Duangjai would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Duangjai isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $600 goes: • Textbooks and materials: $25 • Exam and lab fees: $50 • Outstanding tuition balance: $525 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Rattapon
