Danylo is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Moscow Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $900.
The registrar has said Danylo can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Danylo has a 3.8 average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Danylo would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Danylo isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $900 goes:
• Final term tuition: $380
• Exam and lab fees: $55
• Outstanding tuition balance: $465
Every share and every dollar helps.
