Cristina is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Timișoara State College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,650. The registrar has said Cristina can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Cristina has a first-class average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Cristina would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Cristina isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Timișoara State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,650 goes: • Final term tuition: $1,150 • Outstanding tuition balance: $360 • Exam and lab fees: $140 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
