Tuition fund for Chaminda: a computer science degree at Dehiwala Community College
A first-generation student, Chaminda needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a computer science degree.

Chaminda is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a computer science degree at Dehiwala Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $900.
The registrar has said Chaminda can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Chaminda has a top-ten-percent average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Chaminda would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Chaminda isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Dehiwala Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Exam and lab fees: $40
• Textbooks and materials: $60
