Brooks is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at San Diego Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,400. The registrar has said Brooks can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Brooks has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Brooks would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Brooks isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the San Diego Community College bursar's office.       The list at the bottom is the whole picture. outstanding tuition balance is the biggest at $1,850.
