Tuition fund for Bezawit: an electrical engineering diploma at Adama State College

Bezawit is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an electrical engineering diploma at Adama State College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500. The registrar has said Bezawit can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Bezawit has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Bezawit would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Bezawit isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Adama State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $500 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $250 • Final term tuition: $210 • Exam and lab fees: $20 • Textbooks and materials: $20 Thanks for reading all this. - Roman
