Tuition fund for Axel: a nursing degree at Corpus Christi State College
A first-generation student, Axel needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a nursing degree.

Axel is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a nursing degree at Corpus Christi State College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $5,200.
The registrar has said Axel can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Axel has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Axel would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Axel isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Corpus Christi State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $5,200 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,700
• Final term tuition: $2,000
• Exam and lab fees: $220
• Textbooks and materials: $280
