Tuition fund for Arnel: a teaching qualification at Manila Polytechnic

Arnel is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at Manila Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Arnel can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Arnel has a distinction average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Arnel would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Arnel isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Manila Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $650 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $260 • Final term tuition: $320 • Exam and lab fees: $55 • Textbooks and materials: $15 With deep gratitude, Carlo
