He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $6,250. The registrar has said Alexander can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Alexander has a 3.8 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Alexander would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Alexander isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Philadelphia Polytechnic bursar's office.
