I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at the Mississauga Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,200.
My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around him. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• First-year servicing plan: $340
• Fitting and training sessions: $300

Sure. The biggest one is first-year servicing plan, $340. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for asking.
