Tornado in Syracuse: help the Lakeview settlement rebuild
Neighbors in the Lakeview settlement are rebuilding after the tornado; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The tornado hit the Lakeview settlement on 20 September. My home was one of 64 damaged, and 2 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $6,200 goes:
• Tools and labor for repairs: $850
• Roofing sheets and timber: $2,700
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,950
• Clean water and purification supplies: $700
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Good luck, Jack. Shared it with a few friends. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Syracuse.
