Tornado in San Diego: help the Sunrise district rebuild
Neighbors in the Sunrise district are rebuilding after the tornado; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The tornado hit the Sunrise district on 16 June. My home was one of 88 damaged, and 9 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $7,150 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $5,250
• Clean water and purification supplies: $740
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $1,160
Thank you for reading my story.

You're not alone, Ezekiel. This could happen to any of us. Don't give up. All the best.
thinking of you and your family. More neighborhoods should do this. All the best.
Thanks for sharing this. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Ankara donated after I showed her your page. Blessings
