Supporting Tomás through colon cancer: medication, transport to Alcalá de Henares University Hospital, and living costs while He can't work.

Tomás was diagnosed with colon cancer in May. The oncology team at Alcalá de Henares University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Tomás is 48, worked as a bank teller until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Alcalá de Henares University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $4,400 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,350
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $250
• Scans and lab work: $760
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,040
