Titilayo lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at Ikeja General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $455.
Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Titilayo could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
